"S" is for...
"S" is for a SIMPLE project! I like letters as art work, and this particular project was simple and inexpensive.
I typed one letter in Word. I selected the letter and then changed the font size to 600. Word's largest font size in the menu is 72. However, you can type in any size that you want.
I tried a couple of fonts (Vivaldi, Century Schoolbook, Elephant, Rockwell Extra Bold, Georgia and Times New Roman).

I ended up choosing either Times New Roman or Georgia. I printed them all out, but they got mixed up and I don't remember which was which :) I used the "S" in the lower left hand corner.
I had an old, oak document frame that I spray painted with Heirloom White. I think that for a printer-project like this, the document frames work better, because then you do not have to cut the paper like you would for an 8X10 picture frame.
Here is the before - I had tried to whitewash the oak and printed a flower. I have 3 of these, but I never ended up hanging them.
Here is the "S" hanging out in my bedroom (or perhaps I should say "leaning around" my bedroom). See the whole masterbedroom makeover here.
"S" is for surprisingly simple, stylish and sharp.
Thanks, Julie. I "hopped" on over and linked up. Thanks for the invitation.
