Green Breakfast Smoothie

Don't freak out at the sight of a green smoothie for breakfast! This is a tasty and healthy breakfast option. The smoothie is a lovely shade of green. You can't even taste the spinach. If you need to, simply close your eyes. I found this shake from the blog fit2fat2fit. In addition to being tasty and healthy, it is quick and keeps me satisfied until lunch time.

Banana Breakfast Smoothie
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter or 2 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 banana
Add ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Pulse until the spinach is nearly minced and the peanut butter is incoporated.
